HELLO, BOREDOM!
I'm officially in the middle of study week now. The dining table now looks like the aftermath of a tornado. The wildly strewn papers are the flattened buildings, and my white mug in the middle of the mess - the holy church which survived the storm.
Progress is extremely slow and the wind is a horrible distraction. The breeze in the apartment is amazing with a capital A everyday, compared to my second home in Sg Long where you sweat the moment you step out of the shower! Everyday of this week, the first thing I do after I brush my teeth is open the front door, the sliding door, and the windows, and HELLO OXYGEN!
I SHOULD be used to this short freedom which I'm supposed to fill with studying. During those secondary school times, we'd just *ahem* excuse ourselves from school a few weeks prior to the exams to study. Which I did. CUZ I WAS SCARED.
But now, I'm just basking in glorious freedom.. mindlessly going through some random notes.. and trying to find absolutely ANYTHING to do besides studying..haha. Seriously!
Lets look at what I did today.
1. Was woken up at 5am or so and heard how the Liverpool vs Arsenal game ended 4-4. And to receive news that Liverpool's at the top of some chart now. EPL?
2. Officially wakes up at 930. Wandered around, carried out normal morning routines.
3. Breakfast - Made Milo, swallowed primrose oil, had bread.
4. Drove to uni to return a book. No parking as usual. Parked at the spot where I got fined. Didnt get fined today.
5. Arrived home safely, studied.
6. Lunchtime - made toast with kaya. Took extra effort to make a nice presentation out of my lunch. Laid a bunch of grapes as side dish. Poured soya bean into white mug. Set on coaster.
7. Decided to give myself a manicure.
8. Slept while waiting for nails to dry.
9. Woke up, blog about manicure.
10. Decides that I'm lifeless OMG WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING HERE?!

DREAMS
This is officially the 13th week of me being here in UTAR. Study week commences next week, and then all hell would break loose in the week after that when the EXAMS START.
Crap.
Note that I have not started studying. My CGPA is going DOOOOWWWWNNNN.. So much for banishing procrastination from my system.
After exams, it would be the short break, then a new semester starts, 6 new subjects, 6 new assignments, 6 new exams..
Anyways, I digress. I had a wonderfully weird dream last night which involved a lotta running, a lotta Amanda Quah, and some flying KL Twin Towers.
I forgot how the beginning went, but the whole thing took place at night. There was an overnight party which involved a lotta people I didnt recognize, but Manda was constantly at my side. The scene shifts, and I'm running down marble stairs, pass a quiet lounge, and an empty information counter, the entire time in semi-darkness. Amanda Quah still my loyal running-in-darkness companion. At some point in the dream, I realised that we were running to find a perfect spot to view the 'launching' of the KL Twin Towers. When we did, we were standing together behind a giant glass window, and the Twin Towers were in front of us, completely lighted up. Before I knew it, one of the Towers took off.. As in ROCKET LAUNCHED OFF the ground. Lights and all. Minus the fiery explosion that's supposed to happen during a rocket launch. Soon after, THE OTHER ONE TOOK OFF TOO.. And both of us were just standing there in awe. I think the scene shifted again and this time, I was alone and clinging ON one of the towers. But I woke up and that was the end of the dream. Haha. Weird.
Well, at least it gave me something to blog about =)
p.s - Manda, here's a bonus point. We werent sweating nor panting after all that work out. Plus, were running in party dresses and fancy hells. How's that for elegant? haha. I think we were semi-vampires too because of that. Semi, cuz we werent running still we were a blur.

Age Misperception
As of late, people have randomly been striking up conversations with me and it made me feel wary at first (well, mostly because some of them are pretty old people. What? AS IF any of them are planning to hand over his fortune to me anytime soon. I mean, why on earth do they talk to me? To butter me up and then kidnap me?) but I got used to the feeling of wanting to take flight at every new sentence during those conversations.
What I have YET to get used to is that, somewhere in the middle of those conversations, they give away the fact that they think I'm not as old as I look. So I guess the kidnapping theory is still there. But maybe they just want me to be involved in some pre-arranged marriage with one of their grandsons. LOL! I'm such an exaggerater.
There has been 5 incidents so far whereby I've been thought to be younger than me real age.
1st - In the gym, when Azira, a 14 yo girl who lives in the next block came up to me and asked me how old I was. She wore the face of pure shock when I told her my age, saying I look 15! Dammit. Please note that I thought SHE looked 18.
2nd - The man who lives on the 17th floor whom I met in the lift after gym, who striked a friendly conversation about the gym, asked if the air conditioning there was working, told me he has never utilised it, and then asked me if I usually go there after SCHOOL.
3rd - The real estate agent who -while waiting for my mom to finish scouting one of the rooms-quietly asked me which SCHOOL I go to. Said she thought I looked more of a Fourth or Fifth Former.
4th - The business man who lives on the 21st floor and apparently comes back only once every few months, -a piece of information derived from a lift convo- asked me about SCHOOL.
5th - The salesman in Pavillion - SCHOOL.
Is there something about my face that makes me look like a kid? The way I carry myself? The way I talk?
Talk about irritation.
I.
AM.
E-I-G-H-T-E-E-N, people!! ok well, 17 and a half would be more precise

Its only wednesday so far, but it somehow feels like weeks have gone by.
Its been crazy. Things aren't so good. And to top it off, i've just witnessed an accident at the junciton outside.
Sigh. Missing the babes back home. Didnt talk much with them when i last met them during Compsquad competition last saturday. We need a compensation, you hear??
And a special shoutout to charlene tan. Give yourself time n leave the rest to God. He'll work everything out. You'll be fine =)
